About the Music & Worship Ministry
The Lord has been gracious to Immanuel for many years by supplying godly people who serve well, many being talented musicians and those gifted in the area of fine arts. Our mission is to glorify God by loving Him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength and to use music and the arts to exalt God, build up the believer in Christ and reach those who do not yet know Jesus.

Dominican Republic Music Missions Recap | February, 2025
The Music and Worship Ministry had the opportunity to serve on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic from February 10th to 16th. A total of 48 individuals participated in this trip. While we were there, we had the chance to share the Gospel in various ways. One team led a music camp for children every morning, where the students learned basic music theory while practicing the song “Jesus, Strong, and Kind” in Spanish. Several members of our youth and children’s choir built relationships and shared the Gospel with the DR students. Another team dedicated time each day to teach music masterclasses to young musicians at La Academia Appassionato. Most of these students were not Christians, so this team had the opportunity to teach music while also sharing the Gospel with them daily. A third team traveled throughout the week to tour a school, minister at an orphanage, support a special needs home, and lead a concert for a school. Each evening, IBC musicians collaborated with musicians from Iglesia Biblica del Senor Jesu Cristo (IBSJ) to rehearse and prepare for a concert at the end of the week.
Pray for lasting fruit from this trip and for a long standing relationship with our brothers and sisters there! We hope to go back to the DR in the future and continue ministering there.
